Fire Service Staff Officer Selection Exam Seat Plan

The Ministry of Home Affairs, in coordination with the Security Services Division, has unveiled the much-awaited examination schedule for the Fire Service and Civil Defense Department’s staff officer positions. This vital information has been shared via an official notification from the Public Service Commission (PSC).

As per the announcement, the selection examination for staff officer roles at the 12th-grade level is slated for October 26. The examination will be held across three designated centers within the capital city.

These selected examination centers are the Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Government Girls’ High School, the Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Government Boys’ High School, and the renowned Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Academy. Impressively, the examination is expected to see the participation of a total of 5,580 examinees.

In the event that a candidate misplaces or loses their admission card, a convenient solution is at hand. They can simply download a copy from the Commission’s official website or the TeleTalk website. It’s important to note that candidates without a valid admission card will not be granted entry to the examination hall.

To ensure a smooth and timely commencement of the examination, candidates are strongly advised to arrive at the designated examination center at least one hour prior to the scheduled start. The selection examination is a 100-mark assessment, with candidates earning one mark for each correct answer and incurring a penalty of 0.50 marks for each incorrect response. This evaluation system aims to maintain fairness and accuracy in the selection process.
